[Marking System]

Most importantly, attendance, it has a max of 400 points. Scoring below 200 points or half for that section will cause your final marks to be severely reduced, you have been warned.

Secondly, group work; it has a high importance in your total marks with a maximum of 1200 points. Failing this section will cause you to retake the entire semester again.

Thirdly, assignment marks, obviously you have to do work to gain those marks. Has a maximum of 2500 points.

Lastly, final grades, it is calculated this way, if attendance is a pass, it would be, 2500 divided by 1200 and multiplied with 100%. Some assignments do give final grade modifications, like your first assignment but please note that those are modifications not marks. Teachers can choose to forgo them or include them.
