Chap 2 - I'm the ruler of Destiny!?
Chapter 2 – I’m the ruler of Destiny!?
Flashback Area
A door appeared in her backyard and her mother went missing, and a magically opened tunnel. What awaits her destiny?
Let’s start to disclose part by part =3
Mirumi stepped down the endless steps which changes colour from white slowly to black like a spectrum. The circular stairs lead to even deeper depths and soon a cooling wind like an aura engulfed the entire area. The wind is strangely not cold or warm; it feels magical but seems to analyze the unknown trespasser.
Mirumi went down further into the stairwell and it ended eventually. A gate happened to appear but it seems to disappear after the next second. Besides the fading gates, the entire design of the gate does appeal to Mirumi’s likings. Why so? It’s a heaven gate! With two fairies like symbols that arched the sides, a crescent moon marks the key node of the gates and beyond the gate is filled with a blinding light, and however emits a serenity feel.
Mirumi walked towards the gate. In front of the gate, her hairpin flew out of her pockets, and unlocked the gates. “As I had expected…” thought Mirumi.
Right in front her was a huge statue, with an altar chained to it. Mirumi approached the altar and a gust of wind blew from behind. A huge monster suddenly came out behind him and a similar voice came, “Great, the test of the ruler, let’s go Mirumi!”

Battle Scene:
Huhhhh? How am I going to fight this birdy? > Mirumi
Your hairpin, Mirumi. > Voice
Just say the keywords, “Believe in me” and see what happens. > Voice
Mirumi followed her words and a music score appeared together with a violin.
Oh… I get it. Let me play this song… thought Mirumi.
[When the song started, the large monster seems to be weakened in strength and enticed to her song.]
Ah great, it worked! > Voice
Huh, what worked? What did I just do? >Mirumi
Well umm, you are supposed to charm it with the song, probably. But since it did happen, I think you have to say the magic word… > Voice
What word? I can’t keep up with the playing! > Mirumi
Oh umm, it’s… Ah I remembered its recall! > Voice
[Mirumi followed the steps and the huge monster became a doll. ]
The doll upon touched by Mirumi, turned into a page of score that continues the score book.
“Whew so is this the task? I feel my body… surged with magical power…” thought Mirumi.
“Yes, this is your power, the power to control the future, the power to predict further than normal people can, the power to prevent the ultimate destruction of this every world. Your actions from purifying souls like you just did just now could increase your powers. Gain enough powers, even allies to aid you in your quest, to defeat the source of impurities.” said the Voice.
“The source of all of them? Is the battle like just now? Just by a song?” asked Mirumi with high spirits.
“No, that is just a test, a journey filled with dangerous monsters and spirits is just ahead you. Don’t feel too proud of your first success.” stressed the Voice.

[ A voice came out like abruptly.]
Voice: Humpt. A little girl is going to be my master? I thought it would be something bigger well, at least older and definitely more matured.
Mirumi: Hey! Stop using your microphone and face me. I’m sure I am summoned her for a reason and this stairs are neverending!
Voice: Oh, such a impudent child, you dare to talk back? You know, I’m the Ruler of..
Mirumi: I don’t care what ruler are you, stop peeking at me and come out now. Also, is there a lift or something here, I’m tired of walking down these stairs.
Voice: What!? You are sure an impudent kid. Lemme punish you.
[ Another voice came, and seems to overpower the former voice]
Voice B: Stop playing with her, Kamira. I summoned her. Now Mirumi, ignore him and keep walking, it’s only like a few steps more. I’ll meet you at the gates.
Voice A: Grr, ok ok I get it.
[ The two voices went away and the stairwell becomes quiet again]
Mirumi: What was that? Some perverts? Yawn, I want my nap and I can’t believe I’m still in my pajamas. It’s all Estial’s fault!

Author Note :
The hairpin itself, serves as a magical guardian which follows her around. In it, it contains these powers/items.
The Score – It serves as a collection of scores from captured spirits/dolls. It grants her different songs to play for different effects.
The Spell book – It serves as a magical library of enchantment spells. Highly powerful but she requires a violin on her hand to cast it. It allows her to predict the future and also as a platform to perform her journey.
The Violin – Her beloved violin, imbued with the power of the light of serenity and bathed under the blessing waters of the sacred. It allows her to channel her spells and songs, granting magical powers to be channelled from the magical realm to her current world.
The Summoner Ring – Not a physically seen item, she has it inside herself. It grants her ability to speak to her captured spirits/dolls and also to use their abilities during enchantment fights.
[I’m lazy to say about all these in the storyline, so I’ll put all of them here =3.]
