Chapter 4 - Unlistened Warning
“Did he follow us?” asked Mirumi.
“Nope he won’t, he is supposed to be guarding the sacred books, he will never leave the place.” Replied Harmony
“So is he a bookworm?” questioned Mirumi.
“Not that, he is the guardian of knowledge, he guards those books, so as mortals or any other beings actually won’t know about the decent past.” answered Harmony.
Mirumi, at the verge of tiredness, fell on the bed. “Whew, it’s surely tiring to soar with that new power.”
“I think you just need more practice, it’s your first time invoking its power anyway. Give it more time. Now, get some rest, I need to go and check out something.” said Harmony and casted a spell to make Mirumi sleep soundly.
“Now… I need to search for the other locations of the trails… I wonder the locations are still the same and not damaged yet, it’s like… 50 years already.” thought Harmony and he flew off.
The next morning, a sudden meeting was conducted in the school’s conference regarding the Corridor.
“WHAT!? Someone went in the Corridor? You sure?” questioned the Head.
“Yes I guess so; the seal was released, by quite a promising scorer. And I suppose a Ritual was called too.” replied the Scout.
“This is insane, really. Who is that scorer? Comb the entire school today! I expect at least some clues!” commanded the Head.
And here we have Mirumi, who is getting ready for school, gets a sudden flash of vision, showing that today might not be a good day. She was puzzled as the surrounding she sees were some strange places that she never saw before.
Despite the warning, she doesn’t wish to skip school as she has an assignment to hand in today. Also, she decided not to tell Harmony regarding the foresight.
Reaching the school gates, it was filled with chaos, with strange people around, checking. It’s almost like an army boot camp. Thus Mirumi just walked in slowly, trying not to be noticed.
Thanks to her height, being short, she made it to the classroom and heard some students discussing about what happened yesterday evening.
“What’s with this commotion” pondered Harmony.
“I think… It’s regarding the corridor, we went in yesterday, didn’t we?” asked Mirumi.
“Something strange is going with this school, why did they want to protect that corridor when it could only be unsealed by a Scorer. Unless… But… there is no way.” thought Harmony.
“I thought Scorers like what I am, are known to be extinct? As in selected ones are Scorers, there’s almost no Scorer around.” asked Mirumi.
“Apart so, I would deny that. There are Scorers all around, just that they aren’t selected. A selected Scorer becomes a real Scorer or rather, we don’t really refer to the others as Scorers, they are basically known to adapt well to music and melodies that’s all.” explained Harmony.
“Mirumi, remain hidden till we get home. I sense trouble.” warned Harmony.
Everything was peaceful till evening, where Mirumi passed by the corridor…
“This is… NO WAY!” replied Harmony.
“It’s a reseal? The dragon can’t reseal, he doesn’t have a Scorer, unless there is a Scorer, more superior to Mirumi…” said Harmony.
Suddenly, someone came down the corridor, and took a glance at Mirumi.
“Hmm? Why are you… Wait… You are not normal. You are the Scorer we wanted!” said the Man.
Mirumi tried to run, but fell to the floor since she isn’t good at running at all. Soon, the management team surrounded her and brought her to a room she never been before.
“Waaaa help me Harmony….” cried Mirumi.
“Harmony? Where are.. you? “ pondered Mirumi.
Suddenly, a man came in, his figure seems more of a zombie, no undead. Holding a staff and the orb on the other hand and approached Mirumi.
“Muhahaha, so this is the Scorer they spoke of, kinda cute though. But… I afraid I can’t let you go.” the man said while laughing devilishly.
“I afraid your Harmony or I supposed your guardian? I think he is gone. Like right here…” the man shown Mirumi his hands.
Suddenly, a voice itched through Mirumi’s mind.
“Mirumi, put your hand on the wall. And chant, Erobos Exorcism.” said the voice.
Mirumi followed as she thought that was Harmony and got brought into another room, held by a hand.
“Sorry Mirumi, I’m late to save you, and I supposed you knew nothing about this school. Right? questioned the guy.
“You are… Estial?” asked Mirumi.
“Sorry that I didn’t tell u or anything. I’m a Scorer. But let’s chat later shall we? It seems that we are trapped in the school, or rather, the basement. Let’s get out of here first.” said Estail.
“Then… Harmony? What about him? I need to go save him!” said Mirumi.
“Don’t worry, he is with you, just that… This place seals the power of guardians. It’s meant to trap low-willed Scorers. Since they would rely on their guardians; Come, let’s go.” said Estail.

Chapter 3 – The fated meeting
Chapter 3 – The fated meeting.
Flashback
[Mirumi got her powers but yet do not understand a single thing. With her future still unknown even with the abilities to tell future. Now, the story is going back into her school life, her 1st year in high school.]
After the encounter beyond the door in the backyard, Mirumi did felt different; she has a partial ability to predict future and thus allowing her to avoid any careless mistakes. Even so, with her clumsy self, nothing has really changed much. She is still basically herself even after all the magical happenings.
A new term of school started, she was placed in a new class with new classmates. But it does not matter either way; she was never social-able in class. Hardly spoke, only when the teacher asked her a question. She dressed herself up in her school uniform and went ahead to school. Inside her mind she was wondering what trouble or good that her powers will bring. Will it be helpful? Or will it be dangerous?
With this future unknown, but filled with magical happenings and miracles, let’s begin a new life for Mirumi and her friends. Don’t forget Estial, the boy who she encountered previously.
“Good morning students! From this day, you will be treated as an adult so behave yourself and be like one. To start with the first day, I shall release your assignment!” shouted the head teacher of Mirumi’s Class.
“Yawns, Assignment Briefing on the first day? I wonder why no one is objecting…” sighed Mirumi.
“Psst Mirumi, the assignment is really an easy one” explained the Voice.
“I didn’t know you were here and what is your name anyway” replied Mirumi.
“It’s Harmony, don’t forget again.” said Harmony.
“You never told me anyway, how I can remember!?” replied Mirumi.
“Oh yes, you said the assignment is an easy one, since when an assignment is easy? I thought it’s all those stuff that consists of reports, exams, research.” explained Mirumi.
“Not really though, it’s just a task to make the class bond together. And I don’t really know what are those reports.” replied Harmony.
“You are really innocent… And bonding? That’s a lame and a stupid assignment and I hated bonding” grumbled Mirumi.
"So you are saying you are grown up? You seemed to be more childish than me, at least." replied Harmony.
"No me is not childish. It's called cute." smiled Mirumi.
"That kind of language... Ah, I give up." replied Harmony.
"Tee hehe." goes Mirumi.
The class continues, and the teacher explains the assignment in much detail.
“Okay, to begin with, this is a solo assignment but with group related tasks. The due date is tomorrow.” the teacher explained further.
“HUH!? Tomorrow!?” exclaimed the entire class.
The class teacher continued, and explained the details with students still grumbling away.
"Oh my, you got it correct Harmony!" exclaimed Mirumi.
"Of course, I have the ability to foretell, you too actually." explained Harmony.
"Huh me? I do not feel that power..." wondered Mirumi.
"Uh huh, your hairpin." said Harmony while pointing towards the hairpin.
"Oh by the way, can the others see you? Like my classmates and the teachers..." pondered Mirumi.
"Correct, only those who have your hairpin powers or others similar could see me or feel me" explained Harmony.
"Oh good, I was too afraid I'm going to get caught from talking in class." said Mirumi while giving a breather.
The homeroom ended and there is a little break to the next lesson.
During the break, some students started to bond with each other. One reason might be regarding the first day assignment or actually...about a girl who is seated quite behind.
Mirumi turned back and look to find out what is happening, found nothing but a girl surrounded by students, probed with questions like she is some super-star.
Despite of that, she was not even humble but showing off her talents and making boys in the class to fall in love with her. Mirumi turned away, ignoring them and continued doing her random drawings.
The girl saw her alone at one corner and approached her from behind and gave a push on her chair.
"Huh... Yes, is there something?" asked Mirumi.
"Oh nothing really, why are you here at one corner? Go and bond more!" said the girl with enthusiasm.
"Bonding? Forget it, let me draw my stuff and leave me alone." replied Mirumi.
Soon the next lesson begun and soon enough, it was break time.
"Let's go Mirumi, I'm hungry." grumbled Harmony.
"Hahahaha, you are hungry? I thought super-natural beings like you do not need to be feeded" laughed Mirumi.
"Boo, even spirits need to eat. Spare me some food. Please....?" cried Harmony.
"Alright, let's go have lunch." said Mirumi.
Apprently, the road to the canteen from the classroom is 2 floors away and 10 classroom away, which is weird for first year students. The weird thing is, the floor above the floor where Mirumi's classroom is at, is never used or accessed. The staircase is unlit, and it seemed to be quite dark above the staircase, even the steps are not cleaned.
Mirumi wondered about what is above that staircase, as a magical presence tells her that something is above. Due to curiousity, she went forward and tried to crawl under the ledge that is blocking the staircase.
Suddenly a voice came from nearby, "No entry to the upper levels". Mirumi turned her head and saw a teacher.
She turned back and asked, "Umm, what is above that staircase? It seemed kind of dark above..."
"Curious? The staircase is barred from any entry. That is why it is uncleaned and unkept. No one is allowed to climb that staircase." explained the teacher.
"Oh okay..." sighed Mirumi.
"Either way, come with me, I cannot let you hang around here. You are a Year One yes? I'll bring you to the canteen" said the teacher while grabbing her hand and dragging her along.
"Ouch ouch ouch, it's painful!" screamed Mirumi.
"It is for your own good. I'm sorry." the teacher apologised.
He brought Mirumi to the canteen, and demanded her that she shall not go near there ever again. Mirumi cleaned her hand which is filled with red marks after the painful grabbing by that teacher. Mirumi shouted out for Harmony, but there was no response. Mirumi was worried and search her pockets and saw Harmony sleeping at her blouse's pocket.
"Hehe, so this is what he calls by hungry." thought Mirumi.
Mirumi carried him up and enveloped him within her handkerchief and queued up for some food.
The queue was not very long and Mirumi got food quite fast, additionally, she asked for an extra bowl to feed Harmony with.
She went around and found a seat and took out a few from her bowl to the smaller bowl. She called out to Harmony softly trying to wake him up.
"Harmony... Wake up wake up. There is food now..." whispered Mirumi.
"Food... Huh did you say food!?" exclaimed Harmony while rubbing his eyes.
"Uh huh food. Come on eat, I do not want you to die from hunger" said Mirumi.
"Yay!" said when Harmony gobbing his food into his mouth.
Mirumi was sort of shocked at the Harmony's eating speed, he seemed to be really hungry. But then again, do guardians go hungry?, she thought.
While Mirumi was eating, she recalled that staircase. She was not that afraid of the staircase but something must be above, something bad, something that will affect everyone.
"What's wrong Mirumi?" asked Harmony.
"Ermm, it is this...." explained Mirumi to Harmony the entire incident.
"A sealed staircase... Can I take a look later?" requested Harmony.
"Umm okay, but the teacher..." sighed Mirumi.
"It is going to be all right, I will be casting a spell later." said Harmony.
"Ohh a spell? Okay then, after school." decided Mirumi.
Mirumi went though the other introduction classes and finally it was end of a school day. The sun was setting and the walls almost became bright red. At this time, Harmony asked Mirumi to bring him to the staircase.
When they were nearing the staircase, Harmony suddenly stopped and realized what is above.
"Above... is a powerful enchanted monster... I can sense it..." feared Harmony.
"Really!? Then... I do not think i can capture him." said Mirumi.
"Probably not now, but my spell allow us to see what's above and we can have a plan to how to defeat that monster. Let's go." replied Harmony.
With the end of his sentence, Harmony gave his wand a swing and chanted, " Melodicis Invis Calacis" and told Mirumi it was okay to proceed further.
At the stairs...
"Brrr.. It's cold!" shivered Mirumi.
"Ah, it must be your school uniform. I feel all right." replied Harmony.
"I know but... Let's just hurry" said Mirumi.
Despite of the freezing magical winds, they went forward with Mirumi shivering. However, the stairs seemed to be never ending...
"How many floors have we climbed Harmony?" said Mirumi while stammering due to cold
"Hmm... I suppose there is a magic seal, if you look down, we have not made any progress..." explained Harmony.
"Ah huh! Mirumi, summon the monster u caught last time and use its abilities!" said Harmony.
"Okay... I will try my best..." said Mirumi.
"Umm, firstly, what was the bird's name again" questioned Mirumi.
"The ritual concept goes like this... You capture a monster and when you summon it out for the first time, you will name it. So in fact, it does not have a name yet. Just summon it out for now" explained Harmony.
"This ring right?" said Mirumi while pointing towards it.
"Uh huh that ring. You know how it works?" asked Harmony.
"Yes i know. Okay here's go nothing" said while Mirumi invokes the summoning ritual.

With the ritual set, Mirumi felt that her body was much lighter as before and the freezing cold winds became to cause no effect to her.
Suddenly,a gust of wind blew from above and a huge figure appears above her.
"Stand down." shouted the Figure as it spread his wings
"You have entered the sacred library of Chaos, a place where mortals like you should not interfere." added the Figure.
"The Dragon of Knowledge? How can it be..." gasped Harmony.
"Come Mirumi, let's soar!" said Harmony.
"You mean fly? Oh okay." responded Mirumi.
"Analyze the figure as we go pass him. Quickly!" said Harmony.
Mirumi analyzed the figure.

Oh what a great working day at Saturday...
Whew, i finished most of my work today. Tired? No, I'm not. Hehe. Nothing much happened today i guess...
But in ArTonelico2, a lot happened. I reached phase 5 upon today. Really happy. And guess what, i will blog about something different today... yes yes, about someone i guess. I don't really care if he views this, I'm just wanting to share this.
Okay, I've been in luminary for long and i met up with this guy, called DarkWater, and we ended up to be in a relationship, uh huh, a normal one. We headed on start quite well, and supported each other, chatted with each other in MSN, and had kinda lots of fun.
As my studies are coming, i don't really care already, since i need to talk to him, and you know... accompany him. But apparently, a lot of work load peaked up, and i realized that i should pay more attention into work...
Due to that, i left Luminary, and concentrated on my assignments. Usually down, and busy, and hated myself for being swayed by my own emotions, the love between him and me. He chats with me still, for that, i find him annoying. So one day, i told him the entire reason and my resolve. He accepted, but not fully. One point is, he won't have the power to reject either, because I'm me, and He's him. He can't force it on me. Right?
This way, he left me alone. And once i was doing work, i went to msn him, to inquire his thinking about me. Obviously, he said he was hurt, and he does not blame me. Trust me, you can't lie through me. I know you hated me, hated me till you wanna kill me. Thus, i explained the entire reason to him, in detail, in the best elaboration i could give. Just to make sure he understands. I don't really care whether he hates me, not for now at least.
Work and assignments is always the first for me. Nothing get grab its position. This is me, my personailty, change it, and i'll roar. Holidays are arriving, which means i'll get free time. But that does not mean i will return to Luminary. I had this feeling that, i will not return to Luminary. It's changing too much, changing to a point that there is no return, to a point that hard work is totally useless in Luminary anymore. So why should i play it? Let those cash users win, i don't care now. What a imbalanced system, you guys may wanna earn money like a gold mine. Well you guys got what you want, go live with it, I, Ruru is gonna leave Luminary for real. Friendship in game? I could always use MSN. Who needs Luminary's chatbox anyway.
And i'm not lying. Nor i never lied for no reason. A game being controlled by real-life cash, that is not even a virtual world anymore. It's just simply screwed up. I'm off to other better,cuter, much more MMOs. Not to say, Luminary is 2D too. I could easily find another to replace you.
Either way, I'm stopping this mindless rant. Tomorrow... I shall completed my 3D, at least to a 90%. And complete my AI revision and i'll head for interview preparations. Cheers for my course mates! Enjoy your weekend and rush assignments! It's only 3 weeks to holidays =P

One of the lonely Chinese New Year...
Argh, i dont know why, but this new years was the worst of all. Firstly, we have this stupid assignment to do during the course of cny and the lecturer just gave us video tutorials, I mean, if we are just gonna use videos, then why do we need you? Its always videos here and there, by as well we study without you. Thats just my point of view.
Anyway, today is supposed to be pretty noisy and busting with life which is not really so actually. Relatives came kinda late, noisy is for awhile yes. So i intended to call my friends over, well I'm bored. Okay, i called one friend, he didnt pick up, so oh well. Around 4pm, another friend called, and asked me to go to his house for a game of mahjong, well i have guests here? So i declined, and proceeded to do my stuff. Which is, Ar Tonelico II.
Around 6pm, he called again, said he was coming at 7. Okay fine, I'm happy now. I told my parents, and they got ready the food for them, well serving purposes. They went out at 8pm and asked me to receive the guests well and play/entertain them.
Whats next? I tried Sms-ing, no reply, calling? Finally. He said he wasn't coming. And i see the large plate of food infront of me. For once, i thought those are offerings to a god. No one is coming. Well, I'm hungry, so i ate some nuggets. Yes alone at home. Thus, i went ahead to do 3D, which is the assignment i mentioned. Completed quite a few sections and i went for a break and back to Ar Tonelico II again, while converting my avi to ipod file format. And now I'm bloggin. Seriously, the new year for this year, is seriously plain. It's like a normal day, just that my house get visitors.
Well anyway, with the ang pao, it does seem much different. I got like 200+ in total right now, combining with my savings. A hundard more for a psp. For my birthday actually. Last year i got myself an iPod Touch, so ths year a psp.
Let's hope tomorrow goes on well. And i'm really emo now. But who cares. Parents say I'm cheated by my friends, but i did do this kinda things before, so i cant really blame them. Maybe they are really busy? But never mind.
But in total, it's really a lonely cny to start with. It's like a normal holiday you know. And I'm glad that Ar Tonelico II is there to play with me.

Oh, i'm back to blogging?
Whew, it is really weird. Why so? I left Luminary the day before and decided to return again >.<
Not because i wanted to leave in the beginning. But the game system is totally rigged and bugged and whatsoever reasons I can think of. The game concept is good but the GM is utterly lazy and kept playing his Soldier Front all day long... Lazy GM. BOO!
Either way, I'm back to Luminary once again, not currently though. I feel that i should have spent more time in studies and Luminary is one of the constrains lol. Then again, i spent a lot in Luminary, like 14 or 16 game cards worth 10 each, before GST lol. So that's like 160 bucks? Ooohh, close to a psp!
Since i have spent a lot uh huh. I should not just quit! I should show the GM how fearful I am muahahahaha :D Friends inside the game also hoped for me to return, and a lot of other reasons too. So ya, I'm back to Luminary, but not now, probably during my long and my last holiday for my study career in TP. Oh wells.
Apprently, this playful blogger went to play PristonTale, which is like a 7 year old game already. Wasted 2 hours of training and wanted to uninstall. Yes, I'm uninstalling while blogging. How time saving I'm! Like hell it is, when i spent 2 hours on a game which i'm uninstalling now x.x
Tons of MMOrpgs are getting boring. Boring boring boring. Yes, I'm stressing it. Those who good game concepts, are either not being too popular, or being kicked-away by players because of those comments like, "Pro, can you power level me?", "Where is the PK zone?", "Why can't I use magic", "Where can I change my job". And tons of others, I'm sure you can think of it lol. Well my thinking is, those good concept games i play, usually count out PK or magic systems.
Well that i won't mind, but Luminary implemented PK and magic usage, which is a plus i guess. But it made magic users in the game like nurbs. Yes nurbs. We use a high amount of mp just to shoot a weak bolt and our regen is like 10mp/25 sec. Joy, isn't it? We sit down to regen mp, and from 0 out of 1200, to regen to maximum of 1200. You at least need to sit for like 6 hours. Madness case this one, i tell you lol.
They added in new spells for all classes, not added in actually, replaced. But magic users are added in. And we get two new spells. Yay! Too early to be delighted actually. Our first skill, increase mana regen. Sounds cool, but only recovers up to 200% speed, and well that's stupid. Really it is. Our second skill, raises maximum HP up by 200. And what is the point of this =0. As if 200 hp is a lot lol.
Boring yea? But never mind though. I'm changing my class into bow! yes bow! Which at least is far much balanced than my cute and weak canes. But i still do love them because of their cuteless. Oh well. Bye Bye cane for a while.
Okay, enough of Luminaries. Tomorrow is the start of a new week! Oh yes, more douglas, more of everything. And yay, we will be having our first AI lesson. Oh this is really joy. After like 3 weeks x.x With the game lab down, let's see what can I do during break lol. I can't play my ps2 in school anymore. Oh and side note, Ar Tonelico 2 is out at 20th. I wanna buy it but oh well. Short of money nowadays. So I'm just gonna perform some 'magical artes' to get it.
Well, I'm so bored so i came in and blog. And if you read till here, admit that you are bored too lol. Because u just read a boring person's boring blog during a boring sunday and a soon to be boring week coming =3

Not that anyone is dying. But I'm saying about assignments and stuff :X
Soon, one semester is gone. And assignments are rushing towards us i guess.
First, the subject that usually people will neglect.
GRDV - Graphics Development.

Since im playing luminary, and i wanna make every min worth the time. So i took up farming, it allows most afking, and just going inside to feed your character when he is hungry. So ya, at least it is worth the time.
About the story, i will upload one chapter this week. Sorry that i cant make it 2. Too busy with work. Until then Janee :X
